Installation of hydraulic door closer (control units)
- Door control units provide safe opening and closing of doors. Control units for both hinged and sliding doors are available.
- For hinged doors, the installation of a control unit should be accompanied by an upgrade of the hinges to offset the forces being applied by the hydraulic system.
Automatic door closers for sliding doors
- Sliding doors can be closed automatically by installing a hydraulic control unit. Each application needs to be assessed to obtain the correct power of the control unit.
- Sliding doors must be in smooth and free operating condition for the control units to work effectively.
Installation of vision tapes
- Clear larger panes of glass may be a safety hazard. Vision tapes applied to the surface of the glass make the clear area more visible.
- Exceed can supply and install vision tapes as required.
Installation of colonial glazing bars
- Decorative colonial bars glued to the surface of glass can add to the strength of the glass as well as providing visual cues as the location of the glass.
Re-glazing with safety glass
- Broken glass in a door can be replaced by Exceed with no fuss. There are strict standard to meet when re-glazing a door. Exceed can advise of the correct glass to go into a door to meet the Human Impact Standards.
- For a door re-glaze, it may be necessary to replace the hinges to accommodate an increase in weight from new thicker glass.
