Replace/repair timber liners on aluminium frames
For a number of reasons, the timber liners around window and door frames can develop rot. These timber liners can be successfully removed and replaced without taking the frame out of the wall.
Building Code requirements for installing the correct type of timber will be meet by an Exceed franchise owner completing this type of work.

Older types of window and door frame often had no provision for collection and drainage of condensation on the inside of the window. Retro fit condensation channel and drainage can be fitted to most window frames.

The work can usually be done from inside the house. For customers reconditioning old windows, brass pulleys and fittings are readily available.
Issues of weight between re-glazed windows and the cast iron counter weights can arise. The sash usually becomes too heavy for the existing weight system. This is not difficult to resolve.
