Installation of multipoint locking systems
Multi point locking increases the number of locking points around the perimeter of the door. This can vary from an extra locking unit, to a larger lock and or the installation of hinge bolts for security on the hinge side of the door.
Multi point locks can be fitted to both hinged, sliding and bi-fold doors.
Installation of deadlocks door locks
A deadlock is a lock that has not self latching and has to be operated by the use of a key. A variety of such locks can be fitted in either the centre rail or the stile of a door.
Installation of hinge bolts
Hinge bolts are solid pins mounted onto the hinge side of the door and prevent the door from being lifted out when the hinges are cut or the hinge pins are removed.
Installation of security bars (solid or folding)
Solid or folding security bars can be installed to either the inside or outside of a door. Exceed can assess and quote for the installation of such security measures.
Re-glaze aluminium doors with security glazing pattern
Older styles of aluminium doors may have removable rubber on the outside of the door. This can be changed to security style of glazing.
Exceed has its own retro fit glazing bead system to upgrade the glazing to heavier glass or to fit security type glazing beads.
